Micro cap

A stock with a market capitalization generally under $250–300 million, the smallest widely-used size category (below small-cap). Micro-cap stocks tend to be more volatile and less liquid than larger companies, often trade with wider bid-ask spreads, and typically receive little or no coverage from Wall Street analysts — all of which adds risk alongside potential for outsized growth.
