Net tangible assets

A company's total assets minus its liabilities and minus intangible assets like goodwill and patents — leaving only the physical and financial assets that could realistically be sold. It's often used as a rough estimate of what shareholders might recover if a company were liquidated, and is calculated as: Total Assets − Total Liabilities − Intangible Assets.
